Renalzin – helping to
protect your cat's kidneys

• Renalzin contains a phosphate binder called 'lanthanum carbonate'. The product is specifically formulated for cats, but lanthanum carbonate is also used as a first line treatment in human Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients.
• It is now the opinion of many of the world's leading feline clinicians, that one of the most important things to control in CKD patients, is the level of phosphate in the cat's diet through phosphate binder, kidney diets or both.
• Renalzin reduces the amount of phosphate that is absorbed by the body. Controlling phosphate helps to protect the kidneys and slow the progression of kidney disease.
• Phosphate control is beneficial at any stage of kidney disease. Your vet may introduce a low phosphate diet as well as recommending Renalzin.
